When I Fell Asleep Descriptive Writing
It was about 9:30 when I fell asleep. All I remember before I had fallen asleep was when I got up to go to the bathroom. I got up out of my oh so comfortable bed and put on my slippers. I had tile and hardwood floors all throughout my house, so I never walk around without them. Especially during the winter time. I proceeded to walk to my bathroom as I am putting on my robe. Recent discussion of making restaurant available for this three groups of people, Tom Laskawy discussed in “ Hondson Choice” they should be able to, because this may be the only meal they receive a day and its admirable. On the other hand Michelle Goudine reports in food stamps should only be used for healthy foods and that the government should spend money on educated people on eating healthy rather than contributing to unhealthy eating. In A Hombson Choice, Tom Laskawy admits that making restaurant foods available for those who are unable, due to age, disability, or homelessness, reduces hunger seems necessary. Michelle Goudine thinks otherwise in “No Funds for Fast Foods”, they should only be able to buy healthy foods and the government should spend more time educating on how to eat nutritionally rather than subsidizing less healthy options, we should spend money educating all Americans in better nutritional choices and work on making healthy foods just as cheap as fast foods. The elderly, disabled and homeless should be able to use their food stamps to buy restaurant because, because healthy or not, this maybe the only way they are able to get anything to eat.…

My mouth, it was gone. Tears escaped and ran down my face as the lights started flickering until they turned off completely. It was dark and it all felt so real. Rocketing across the water, the beach and sky blur into one. But in my mind everything is still, even calm in fact. My eyes dart around. I see men. Pain and panic fill their eyes. Some tremble as if catching a fever. Other soldiers clutch on to their weapons as if gripping onto their mother’s hand when learning how to walk. Some soldiers drink from their canteens, as if it’s the last drink to enter their bodies. I feel my heart race, blood pump through my veins. The Captain yells, “30 seconds! Good luck, men. May God be with you and I’ll see you on the beach!”…

In viewing the sublime town, I move at a languid gait, despite the fact that it is midnight. The phase moon is visible as a fully illuminated disc that is encircled by shimmering stars; which creates an atmosphere that makes me feel unravel. Below this stupendous sight is a barren house that is totally in contrast to the scenery above it. The house is dark and is surrounded by white clouds; however the luminous light from the moon shines on this haunted house. Some of the windows are broken while some are cracked and filled with moulds. The roof is large and has several apertures and is falling at the seams. It lacks iridescence as it embeds only one fainted colour – grey. I quiver as the cold breeze blows, and the smell of mist fills the air and the leaves around the house arise. I am now in a state where my mind is not lucid, as I muddle whether I should return home or to continue this haphazard adventure.…
