When I Vote To Me Research Paper
I know I am not the first person to say it and nor will I be the last, but Politics are BORING! With the elections coming up politics have become a kind of hot topic. No one persons views are the same, and this causes endless Facebook posts, arguments, and debates between once friends. So here is where the problem lies. Some people enjoy politics and everything to do with it, while others not so much. I; however, feel very differently. I hate everything to do with politics, they make no sense to me. So with voting coming up, especially one as important as the presidential election, I have to stay informed. My biggest issue is that I do not understand the endless articles I see posted all over Facebook and other social media sites. I try to read …show more content…
Is my voting, my choosing a side, doing any good for the country. Or am I making things worse in a world of politics already headed down the path of destruction. By choosing to vote, no matter how confident I feel about it, I am still uneducated. I may not be entirely so, but for the most part I am. I do not understand the things I read and try as I might I do not have the brain for them. So am I, by voting, making things worse. I may chose the one I feel best suites my views, but none of my options are great and I have no real way of knowing if I am in fact making the right choice. We lose the important stuff. Thus making it all truly impossible to understand. Even more so for the people who don't have the mind for politics. So am I making the right choice, in whom I vote for, and even in my choice to vote. I do not know, but for now it will have to do. I will try my hardest to keep myself as educated as I can be, and all I can do after that is hope that the choices I make are the right ones. The same goes for

Everyone in their lifetime desires the comfort of a friend, but will settle for the attentive ear of a stranger. In the novel, Of Mice and Men, Steinbeck shows how lonely people were during the 1930’s. He teaches a grim lesson about the nature of human existence, and how the characters in the story had to admit at one time or another to having a profound sense of loneliness and isolation. Although each character had their own secluded troubles, Curley’s wife, Crooks, and Candy, suffered the most from loneliness.…

From the beginning, Elie Wiesel's work details the threshold of his adult awareness of Judaism, its history, and its significance to the devout. His emotional response to stories of past persecution contributes to his faith, which he values as a belief system rich with tradition and unique in its philosophy. A divisive issue between young Elie and Chlomo is the study of supernatural lore, a subset of Judaic wisdom that lies outside the realm of Chlomo's pragmatism. To Chlomo, the good Jew attends services, prays, rears a family according to biblical dictates, celebrates religious festivals, and reaches out to the needy, whatever their faith.…

Some become argumentative and begin to reveal their opinions on different political conflicts while others attempt to avoid the topic at all times. Many Americans do not follow politics closely and vote for parties that are aligned with the social groups to which they belong. People have a nasty habit to think of people who have been lonely and bullied as outsiders, although outsiders are just people who are completely misunderstood and judged the wrong way. Because so many important information that go into decision making cannot be disclosed to the general public, because of their delicacy, a lot of the times politicians have a bad reputation in general public’s eyes.…

In order for Americans to not lose their right to vote we need to be able to show that being apart of making the decisions for our country is important to us. Being able to vote on the decisions our country makes is a privilege that we have that the rest of the world may not. As I talk to my peers they seem to know less and less about the current election that is going on, when the reality is that some of them will be old enough to vote for it in the next couple of months. Sure they know who Donald Trump and Ben Carson are but most of them do not know what the candidates views are or who any of the other candidates are. Most do not understand politics at all, are not sure of their views, do not know which party they stand for or how…
