When Was The Industrial Revolution A Turning Point
Before 1750, people lived in countryside and farmed by their hands to produce the food their families needed everyday. Soon, a fundamental change which started in the Great Britain altered the way people lived and shifted the the way goods were produced from hand production methods to complex machines. This period of time known as the Industrial Revolution. Started around 1750, the process of industrialization spread through the world in the following centuries. The Industrial Revolution was considered a historical turning point mainly because of the three major features involved in it which were the change of economic system, the development of mass production, and the form of different social classes.

Earlier in 1750, before the Revolution, farmers who lived in countryside and worked on their small farm land had to use their own hands to produce food. This type of produce method had low efficiency which meant that people produce less food in a long period of time. The farmers were poor and the families could not get enough food to eat and not enough clothes to wear. In case to shifted this hand production method, people came up with an idea that can increase the efficiency, so that large produce machines and factories were built in city later which can produce more products in a shorter time. The factories system needed a large number of workers which provided more jobs for people who lived in countryside or farm land. This caused the urbanization because people had to move to towns or cities which were more closer to work in the factories to get those jobs. Also because of the factories system, it allowed for lower prices on goods produced which meant that everyone can afford it. The Great Britain gained wealth by sale these low prices goods oversea to other countries around the world between trades. People and workers also benefited on it -- they got more pay for the jobs.
