Throughout his lifetime, President Abraham Lincoln earned much respect and honor. As his life ended, he went down as one of the best and respected presidents. He helped to end slavery, he was independent, and made time for the people of his country. First off, Abraham Lincoln helped to end slavery. In the Civil War, Lincoln was on the side that wanted to win and end slavery.
