Who Is Cristiano Ronaldo?

Cristiano Ronaldo was born on February 5, 1985, in Funchal, Madeira, Portugal, a small island off the western coast of the country. Ronaldo is the youngest of the of four children. Cristiano got his last name from president Ronald Regan, one of his dad's favorite actors. By the time Ronaldo was 10 years old, Ronaldo was already preparing to play pro soccer. Cristiano Ronaldo is like all kids who eat, sleep and drink soccer. Playing soccer was all he ever wanted to do as a kid. He loved to play soccer so much that he wouldn’t come home for dinner or while he is supposed to be sleeping, or doing his homework, he would take a ball outside and play soccer.
