The characteristics of the demographic influenced the design of the backpack. The bag needed to be large enough to carry the necessary supplies, and small and comfortable enough to commute with regularly. Black was chosen as the colour for a more business look. The design of our bag was changed only once on the 2nd turn to add more comfort by changing the type of straps used. The special features we used were kept very basic, with a laptop sleeve and a water bottle. We started with a lower price for our product, and then raised it in the following turn. By turn 3 we had determined a good price point and kept it throughout the…

In comparison with Patagonia, BG Group’s primary customer will be lowly educated, low income consumers of average quality outdoor apparel and equipment, but with a focus on fashionable apparel and dependable equipment. Patagonia is not a low cost provider, develops products for the “core user”, charges higher than the industry average, ignores fads and the next generation customer, and views things in psychographics rather than demographics. Yet globally, the younger population tends to be the most adventurous, fashion focused, has the least amount of funds to disburse towards purchases, and remains as loyal as older individuals to their most liked brand names. By charging less, BG Group will plan to sell more in bulk and mass produce, which will dramatically lower costs of production. “Hard core” followers, those persons who are extremely environmental conscious, are few and far between in this generation. Hence, Patagonia’s median customer age is forty-four. However, the next generation is more aggregate based rather than detail based, enjoys the never-ending challenge of conquering nature over the weekly athletic adventure, does not focus on environmental friendly equipment, and the professional backgrounds of a company. The next generation wants to be fashionable, but still have dependable, long lasting material and equipment. The VP of…

Almost everybody in the world knows the brand Louis Vuitton and can recognize the famous logo and patterns they use on bags. Louis Vuitton is the most valuable luxury brand in the world, followed by Hermes and Rolex. Over the years famous people and rich people who have excessive amounts of money on their bank accounts, have bought their products. If the average person on the street would have to describe a stereotype of the Louis Vuitton owner the description would probably be in this direction; the owner would wear designer clothes, big sunglasses and the Louis Vuitton bag over their shoulder with a Chihuahua in it. I choose this brand because I’m curious about this product. What would be the costs to design a Louis Vuitton handbag? How are these bags produced and why are their retail prices so high? So basically what I want to know: is the Louis Vuitton bag ‘’just’’ an expensive bag or is there something more to this product? During this essay I will look at different subjects; economy, ecology, ergonomics, ethics and aesthetics. I will also give my honest opinion to give the reader and an idea of my perspective about these subjects.…

    Fundango Brand Overview

    • 764 Words
    • 4 Pages

    • Fundango – A brand that started in the world of riders, about 10 years ago. At that time, full-blown young skateboarders gave life to Fundango. Since then, the brand has led a life of sports clothing brands with professionally designed collections but its growing is still accompanied by its parent’s lifestyle. Today, skiers, snowboarders, skateboarders, surfers, riders and anybody who feels close to „free” sports are proud to wear these products. In the course of the years, Fundango collections have covered an increasingly wider range while preserving their original values, and, in addition to the powerful technical collection, streetwear also plays an important role. The style of Fundango products suit well the target group's demands. Today, the initial skateboarder hardcore has been expanded to cover all those liking cool sportswear and appreciating the value added by the brand image. Typically, our customers are youths between 16 and 29 years of age, willing to pay for comfortable, quality and sporty streetwear or functionally well usable technical clothes. For this, they receive the above described Fundango feeling rooted in the initial hardcore line which we are trying to make as widely accepted as possible and underline by way of ongoing and increasingly intensive marketing support. It is a significant element of Fundango's communication to sponsor events, as well as the Fundango Team involving the best of extreme sports. This is what makes the brand an accepted, genuine brand in the world of extreme sports. In the future, we will pay more and more attention to a more advantageous store display that appropriately communicates the core values to the target group, as well as printed press and outdoor media. Fundango's ongoing growth is backed up by a professional design team, a wide range of high-quality products and ongoing international expansion.…
