Who Is Martin Luther King A Hero

“Faith is taking the first step even when you don't see the whole staircase,” once said by Martin Luther King Jr. King had complete faith and confidence that he would make a difference not knowing what challenges he might face ahead. This very important man influenced the course of history for America and the world. King used his skills and personality to change history for the best. What he did contributed to the unsurpassed success in America today. Based on his ministering, his leadership in the Civil Rights Movement, and his powerful writing, Martin Luther King Jr. is a hero. First, King is a hero due to his ministering. As a minister, King was involved in an excess of outreach and held or was in many religious conferences such as the
Southern Christian Leadership Conference. His outreach included feeding, educating, and helping the poor where he lived and around the country. Soon he became popular for his speeches and teaching of the gospel. In his conferences and church services, he would be a strong adversary and inspire many people. Ministering was very important to him and to the people who supported him. Therefore, King was a huge success in the religious arena and had many supporters. He was a hero to them. Next, King showed outstanding leadership in the Civil Rights Movement. In the Civil Rights movement, a movement to end slavery and gain rights, King was a leader like no other. He gave numerous speeches on capitol hill and led many marches and protests. He was one of the few people that made a huge difference during that time. He was Known for his peaceful, non-violence strikes and protests. He risked his own life and wellbeing to fight for what he and so many others wanted and believed in. King went to jail nearly 30 times, and none of the times he truly deserved to go to jail. Once again, as a leader in this movement he saved lives and gave people hope of a better future. All his efforts led to laws being abolished and new ones being erected. Also, it led to the end (legally) of slavery in the U.S. Therefore, King was very well respected and loved by millions. He is actually considered one of the best leaders America has ever known. Lastly, King's writing and poetry were sounds of music to the people. His work was very popular and inspiring. King wrote nearly 20 very favored and popular books and many pieces of poetry and quotes. His writing flowed and inspired people to do what they believe in. His writing is very important to scholars and the government today. His writing is studied and used on many legal occasions. All of his books, poems, and quotes brought people together and were generally about freedom and overcoming obstacles and challenges. Clearly king was a very talented writer. This was one of his special gifts that he used to share and benefit with others. In conclusion, King was a very honored, important, and courageous man. His ministering, leadership, and words made him the hero he was to so many. People looked up to him, people went to him for help, support, and hope. People trusted and believed in him. He and George Washington are the only two people to have their birthday be served as a national holiday! A hero in most books are portrayed as a fictional, animated character with unhuman-like abilities but King is a human, and he was everyone's friend, and he was a hero.
