In the chapter “Kaa’s Hunting”, the author writes, “ But whenever they found a sick wolf, or a wounded tiger, or bear, the monkeys would torment him, and would throw sticks and nuts at any beast for fun” (Kipling 32). Real bullies laugh at injured people and make fun of their injuries. When bullies do that, it similar to the monkeys throwing nut and twigs at sick ones. As you can see now that the Bandar-log and actual bullies are the same. Rudyard Kipling symbolized the Bandar-log for bullies in the real world. The way the monkey people acted, spoke , and treated others all exemplified bullies in the real world. The Bandar-log treated the jungle people poorly so the jungle people only talk negatively about them, they also tell lies so the jungle people don’t trust them or talk to them, and lastly they attack in groups, these all contribute the Bandar-log being bullies.
