Artists like TuPac, Biggie Smalls, Eazy E, Snoop Dogg and Pimp c had some of the biggest impacts on the genre of hip hop. Tupac and Biggie Smalls had about the biggest influences on Music until they made their fans choose sides between the two because TuPac was shot five times and robbed and had claimed Biggie and his crew had something to do with it. It had started the biggest beef in hip hop history. TuPac had dropped three or four diss songs to Biggie Smalls but Biggie never made any song to diss one of the greatest rappers of all time. On September 13, 1996 Tupac Shakur was shot multiple times at a red stop-light. Six months later on March 9, 1997 Biggie Smalls was shot and killed at a red stop-light. I the 1980’s a group by the name of N.W.A had formed with members M.C. Ren, DJ Yella, Ice Cube, Eazy E, Arabian Prince, and Dr.Dre. Together the group went on the make many classic hits of gangsta rap and even crowned themselves the inventors of gangsta rap. They released their first studio album together titled “N.W.A and the posse” in 1987 which had songs “Dopeman” and “ Boyz-N-The Hood.” They released their next album “Straight Outta Compton” in 1988 and was an instant hit for the gangsta rap community. In the next year Dr.Dre left the group to start his own label as well for the reason as Ice Cube for not getting the right amount of money. Eazy E and the rest of the group lives started to go down since they started selling drugs and making less music. In 1995 the group had let each other that they would get back together as long as Eazy E manager wasn’t apart of it and Eazy agreed. Then a week later Eazy E was rushed to the hospital and was told he was diagnosed with aids and only a matter of time to live. Two weeks later Eazy E had passed
