The blank space at the entrance of the cave symbolizes the endless possibilities for our convoluted minds to think of. Another thing I thought of when drawing this picture was the tombstone of Jesus. Simon reminds me Jesus a little. They both died unjustly, trying to do good, and they both were role models, helping children, and spending time alone to reflect and pray. It took me over one hundred hours to finish my masterpiece, including the rough sketch, the final sketch, the coloring, the shading, and the blending.
I have used seven shades of green, three shades of grey, and four shades of brown, as well as some blending colours to fully turn what was only a vision in my mind, into an extravagant reality on
paper.
