A current business on the fortune 500 list is Wal-Mart. According to www.reuters.com (n. d.), Wal-Mart’s corporate headquarters is located on 702 S.W. Eighth Street in Bentonville, AR. According to www.corporate.walmart.com (n. d.), Wal-Mart operates more than 11,000 retail units under 69 banners in 27 countries and e-commerce websites in 10 countries. Each week, Wal-Mart has more than 245 million customers (www.corporate.walmart.com, n. d.). Wal-Mart employs 2.2 million associates around the world and 1.3 million in the United States alone (www.corporate.walmart.com, n. d.). In 2013, Wal-Mart ranked number one in the fortune 500 list with revenue of $469,162,000, according to www.financials.morningstar.com (n. d.).
