Who To Blame For The Death Of Romeo And Juliet
Both Romeo and Juliet are dead their deaths are the result of many different events and decisions. However who do you think is the most to blame for their deaths? The person to blame for the deaths of the characters Romeo and Juliet I think are ones who killed themselves I am going to explain my reasoning in the next four paragraphs on why I think that.

I am going to start with Juliet, Juliet is the cause of her death because she was being she was being inpatient she should of waited till she knew that Romeo found out what the plan was and was ready to go along with it even if she got married she still could of ran away with Romeo but no she didn’t want to wait she rushed things and jumped to conclusions and ended up killing herself at the end of the story. One reason why I think Romeo is responsible for his death is because he was making decisions that could greatly affect him without thinking when Balthazar came to him and told him that Juliet was dead he should of made sure and talked to the friar to see what was going on and how she died, if Romeo did that he would of ended finding out that Juliet isn’t dead and that she is still alive but just asleep. But in some ways it is sort of Balthazar’s fault why Romeo died he shouldn’t of told Romeo that she died knowing how in love he was with her and all that’s happened in the past two days he wouldn’t be in the right state of mind to hear such a news Balthazar should of waited a while to tell him, but Romeo doesn’t think again and goes to the friar and threatens him to give him a potion so that he can kill himself and lay with Juliet not knowing that she is alive. I know this because in the story it says. ”Romeo’s actual threat of suicide in Friar Lawrence’s cell, in which he desires to “sack / the hateful mansion” that is his body so that he may eradicate his name”. Those are the reasons why I think Romeo is responsible for his

There are many people in “Romeo and Juliet” who attributed to their deaths. The first person to blame is Friar Lawrence because he trusted somebody else to deliver the message. The second to blame is Friar John because he was supposed to send the letter to Romeo stating that Juliet was not actually dead. The third person to blame is Tybalt was an angry person who fueled the events that happened. As a result, Romeo and Juliet would have maybe had a chance to live happy ever after if it wasn’t for those three people action.…

Everyone thought that Juliet was dead and since Romeo was never informed of the plan he also thought that Juliet was dead.Which caused him to buy a potion that he would eventually use to kill himself. We could still blame Friar John because he wanted to stop at places on his way to Romeo which caused the plan to be out of order and also because he failed to do a simple order.…

Some characters who are more commonly blamed are Romeo and Juliet themselves. With their headstrong personalities, and love, which seemed so sure, they had in fact condemned themselves. Romeo was the first to promote the relationship at the Capulet's party. It was a case of 'love-at-first-sight' for him, so he felt obligated to seek Juliet at her balcony,…

Ultimately, I think Romeo and Juliet are to blame for their deaths. Yes, the long-lasting family feud could be blamed. Yes, Friar Laurence could be blamed for planning something of such high risk. Yes, Lord Capulet could be blamed for arranging Paris and Juliet to be married. Under all these circumstances, though, Romeo and Juliet could have made different decisions that wouldn’t have led to death. For instance, they could have chosen to take their time getting married, instead of rushing into it. Friar Laurence foreshadowed this point in act two, scene six. “These violent delights have violent endings...Too swift arrives as tardy as too slow.” Also, if Romeo hadn’t let his anger get the best of him after Mercutio died, he wouldn’t have been…

In conclusion, Friar was to blame for Romeo and Juliet's death. He didn't think things all the way through. He didn't think about the consequences. The Friar also didn't deliver the note to Romeo saying that Juliet will wake up and not to worry about it. Romeo killed himself and it was because of Friar. Then Juliet killed herself because Romeo was dead. This was all just a chain reaction to the Friar not giving Romeo the…

Who’s responsible for Juliet’s death? In Shakespeare's “Romeo and Juliet” the person that is responsible for Juliet's untimely death, is Romeo for capturing her love and convincing her to love him back no matter what. If Romeo didn't meet Juliet or did not admit his admiring love to her, none of this would've ever happened. Romeo should've thought about the consequences of becoming in love with his kingdoms moral enemy before he decided to chase after Juliet.…

Another reason why Friar Laurence is to blame for Romeo and Juliet’s death is he wrote Romeo a letter instead of telling him his actions in person. Which causes Romeo to kill himself. In act 5, scene 2, line 25-29, Friar Laurence says,” She will beshrew me much that Romeo hath had no notice of these accidents; But I will write again to Mantua, and keep her at my cell till Romeo come- Poor living…

Romeo, who is not informed of the Friar's plan, kills himself when he thinks that he sees Juliet is dead. Juliet arises and sees Romeo dead, and takes her own life. The Friar is overcome by guilt and realizes that he has "...a short date of breath." (V iii 229). This could also be a confession that he is to blame. If the Friar was not the reason for the two suicides he would have no reason for…

Romeo is the one to blame, the most for the deaths of himself and Juliet. While telling Friar Lawrence about Juliet the friar confronts him, because of the switch from Rosaline to Juliet. Romeo states, “with Rosaline, my ghostly father? No./ I have forgot that name and that name´s woe.” (2.3.45-46). In saying this Romeo proves that a young male might think he is in love but once a girl more beautiful than the last comes along, his heart are as his eyes. This all proves that Romeo is to blame for all of the chaos that came from his “love for Juliet”.…

I believe the people in Romeo and Juliet’s lives helped cause their death. One person who helps cause their death was Tybalt. I think he helped cause their death because if he would have stopped trying to fight Romeo, then Romeo wouldn’t have killed him. If Romeo wouldn’t of killed him, then Juliet’s parents wouldn’t of rushed her into marrying Paris, then she wouldn’t of came to Romeo’s father talking about killing herself. Friar Laurence also helped with their deaths because he is the one who gave Juliet the sleeping potion, which made Romeo think he was dead. These are the people I think helped cause Romeo and Juliet’s…

Shakespeare once wrote in The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet “The dashing rocks thy seasick weary bark!/Here’s to my love! [drinks] O true apothecary!/Thy drugs are quick. Thus with a kiss I die” (V.III. 118-120). Directly after saying this, Romeo takes a poison and dies in hopes that he will spend the rest of eternity with the one he loves--Juliet. Both Romeo and Juliet commit suicide because Romeo thinks Juliet had died so he takes his life for her, then when Juliet wakes up she takes her own life because Romeo has died. How our two star-crossed lovers died was never in question, but who is most to blame for their deaths, is. Many say that there are other people in the play that are to blame for their deaths. Juliet faked her death using a plan given to her, that is why it is Friar Laurence’s fault that Romeo and Juliet both killed themselves, and he is the one to blame.…

The first reason why I think Friar is the one to blame is because he did not deliver the letter. Even though it was because of a disease it caused many casualties in the end. In the story when the two Friars were talking to each other the author states “I could not send it-here it is again-Nor get a messenger to bring to thee, So fearful were they of infection.” (Shakespeare 470). As you can see the extremely important letter was not delivered by Friar. This lead to Romeo not knowing Juliet was actually not dead, and that lead to him committing suicide. After that once Juliet saw Romeo dead, she commited suicide. This was the first reason why Friar is the one to blame for all of the deaths in the story.…

For the second argument “Wouldn’t it be someone else's fault?” I do not agree with this question. I feel that the character that is to blame for Romeo and Juliet’s death is Tybalt. Tybalt caused the first domino to fall. Other people may have done questionable things but the Prince should blame the guy that started it. If two people were in a fight who would get blamed, the guy that started the fight and threw the first punch, or the guy with a black eye just because he threw the second punch to defend…

Friar was extremely well known for thinking of things off the top of his head. His plan was to fake Juliet’s death, so Romeo and Juliet can leave happily ever after. What he states is that he will send a letter to Romeo so he is aware on the plan and get them to escape together. This leads to the couples due to the fact that…. Romeo never received the letter, thus leads to Romeo thinking she is dead, which made him kill himself. If he planned it out, maybe Romeo would have found and agreed with the plan. Another reason is Friar marrying the couple way too quickly. After Romeo meet Juliet about a day ago, he goes to Friar to get them married. However Friar states that he didn’t really love her, he just is quickly in love. If Friar didn’t marry them quickly, maybe the families would understand that they are extremely dedicated to each other, ending the feud. Also, Friar just did all this just to end the feud. If he thought twice about the decision, maybe they wouldn’t lead up to the events that killed them. That is the final trait that killed…
