Who Was Responsible For Amy Cavour's Death

The event of Amy LaTour’s death was a murder committed by her maid, Celeste. All signs and clues lead up to prove Celeste was the murderer of Amy LaTour. The murder was committed due to jealousy of Amy being wealthy and pretty while Celeste is only a maid. Her boyfriends’, Henry Willy and Joe Wonty as well as the burglar, Louis Spanker have nothing to do with this crime. Amy LaTour was sitting at her vanity before her death and that is how she ended up facing the ceiling when she died. That means she was able to see behind her in the mirror and would’ve been able to see the murderer. She must’ve been fine with whoever was in the room which makes me believe that Celeste is the murderer. Maids usually live in the house with their employer
to keep the house tidy. That is why Amy was not expecting anything to come from the maid. Amy would be fine with the maid coming into her room and tidying up the room for her. The room is very neat and well kept as well, everything seems to be in place besides the jewelry which Amy was in the process of putting on. If it were the burglar, wouldn’t the jewelry and everything else be messy due to him snooping through everything? The murder was very clean and orderly, furthermore proving Celeste is the murderer. Next, Amy is lying dead in heels and her hair all dolled up. The jewelry box is open with an earring in her ear and one on the desk. She is also holding a hairbrush in her hand which is very susceptible. If Amy was putting her earrings in, wouldn’t she put them both in once before moving on to doing her hair? Unless someone, in this case, the murderer was helping her get ready. On the table there are flowers from Joe and usually when a girl receives flowers it is before a date. This is why Amy was getting ready and all dolled up. It seems Joe had the flowers delivered so, if Joe was the murderer then wouldn’t he have brought them up himself and murder her right there before the date? Celeste could have been helping Amy get ready before her date which explains the earring in one ear and the other on the vanity. Celeste must’ve placed the brush in Amy’s hand so her fingerprints were not on it. Everyone knows that a canary begins to repeat things from people they hear constantly talk. Canary’s begin to learn names and become familiar with people they’re frequently around. The bird is dead in the cage right beside Amy. The murderer knew the bird was able to talk and would give them away once the police came to investigate. Since Celeste is the maid, the canary would know who she is, her name, and repeat whatever they last heard from her. Celeste must’ve killed the canary so they didn’t give her away to the police. The canary would’ve seen everything that happened and could repeat whatever Celeste and Amy were discussing. Amy is dead on the floor in the crime scene and the way her hand is positioned seems to lead to she was choked to death. Back to Celeste helping her get ready, Celeste may have been putting the scarf around her neck and tied it “too tight”. The death is very clean and orderly which makes sense if it was Celeste because maids are paid to be clean. Amy’s cheeks seem to have a little rosy tint based off of the shading in the photo. When you cannot breathe, your face begins to get red or purple. If Amy was choked, that would explain the tint to her cheeks. Overall, after collecting and piecing together the evidence, Celeste should be charged with first or second degree murder. She committed the crime unlawfully as well as it seemed to be premeditated.
