Why Are Dogs Better Than Cats

Getting a pet is a controversial topic in spite of the plethora of evidence that show how dogs are superior to cats in every way. Some might say that it is subjective, some people simply cannot fit a dog into their small-sized household, so they pick a cat. That however, is a bad excuse, some dog breeds are smaller than cats.
The main reason why people pick the cat instead of the supreme dog is advertisements, more specifically internet advertisements. According to Gogool[1] dogs are more searched online, however, cats are more likely to show up in viral videos. The main reason for that is how they act, despite seeing the camera they don't acknowledge it, so they make for a more entertaining actor due to them remaining expressionless.

A dog can stand a lack a food for 6 days, cats on the other hand can barely survive a few days before dying to hepatic lipidosis. Next, cats have long nails that can better be described as claws, those claws can do alot of damage to your sofa, recliner, bed and carpet.
Dogs, however, lack those sharp claws as they are blunted out by walking. Furthermore, dogs encourage a healthy lifestyle due to their need for walks and exercises. Cats do not need walks, as a matter of fact they might support a more unhealthy lifestyle due to their lazy attitude, not to mention the fact that a cat looks dumb on a leash.
Moving on, Dogs are extremly loyal, they are very dedicated to their owners. Most dogs folllow their owners anywhere and will do what they can to make their owner happy. Most humans cannot offer the same level of love that dogs are able to offer. The same cannot be said for cats.
