Why Bullying Is Bad
The effects of bullying are not good in anyway. Most of the world's suicides are caused from bullying. The only way to stop bullying is for the school’s to have harsher punishments for bullies. If bullying is not stopped then more people will have to deal all of the pain and suffering bullies make them go through. There will be more school shootings and more suicides if there is no punishment for bullies.

It does not just leave the mind of the victim one day. Short-term effects involve: poor engagement in learning environments, anxiety, and depression. However the more alarming effects come in the long-term. Starting with the effect in school, “Nearly 50% of survey respondents report that bullying majorly affected their planes for further education” (Dealing with bullies par. 4). Emotionally 50% of these survey respondents have suicidal thoughts and 20% of them have attempted to kill themselves. To put this in perspective, students who are not bullied have only a .07% chance of contemplating suicide (par. 5). Because victims have not had the chance to effectively devise coping strategies and abilities, they can often find themselves dealing with more struggles later in life as a result. Long-term relationships are harder to form and sustain and sadly, the pattern of bullying continues but now in adult life the victim becomes the bully and is more likely to resort to the same type of aggression and violence they were attacked with. Again, there seems to be a repetitive cycle that seems impossible to break. Going along the same lines there are effects on the bullies as…

These children start to believe they are less of a person or doubt their self. It can follow them long into adulthood and cause havoc on all their future relationship. In worst case scenarios children who are bullied can become suicidal, homicidal, or bullies themselves later in life. Families are also affected by bullying especially when their child is the victim. The results of bullying can also support my opinion. Many things can result from being bullied. Some of these results include PTSD, depression, anxiety, along with physical problems caused by stress (sample 5). The most important negative result of bullying is that the victim could become another bully. This cycle never ends. Again this supports my opinion because it is an example of how the victim becomes conditioned by the environment he is placed in and becomes another…

If you thought that the effects of bullying disappear as soon as your child gets out of school, you are horribly mistaken. Social bullying like circulation of rumors and gossiping could prove to be more harmful than bruises or black eyes suffered in a school fight. The psychological effects of this social type of bullying extend long beyond the school days and linger into early adulthood. This leads to depression and anxiety even when the victim has attained adulthood.…

Bullying happens when they are not around either of them people and also some kids are too scared to tell their parents because they don’t know how they will act nor do they know if they will stop getting bullied or if it would happen more. The victims of such actions need to understand that they can get out of that situation and also that they can sometimes do it by themselves because being bullied can mess a child up in the long run(Jacobs and McMahon np). The child can become antisocial or become very insecure about themselves, which no child deserves to go through all their lives. Not only do the people that get bullied become very distressed but also the people who witness the action happening can become very uncomfortable and stressed.
