Why Competition By Kohn

In "Why Competition?" Alfie Kohn claims that "competition by its nature is always unhealthy." Kohn believes competition and cooperation does not go hand in hand because the so called camaraderie or the bond, which is form for the sake of overcoming the common enemy, is not genuine enough. He believed that this kind of connection that has developed among soldiers and sport teams is not enough to make up for the evilness of competition.
