When Candide arrived to a place called Eldorado, he saw children playing with valuable stones. When the people in Eldorado invited to dine with them, he took some stone on the ground with him so that he could pay them for the meal. The people told him that no one pays for meal was free. When he saw that there was no religious persecution occurs, and how kind and how everyone gets together, he asked if he could visit their king. Candide knew that he would want to live in Eldorado with Cunegonde. Candide decided to stay for a month, but after he could not bear to live there in Eldorado without Cunegonde.
