Why Did Civilization Collapse

There have been thousands of civilizations recorded throughout history, some have sustained, others have collapsed. The civilizations that sustained have learned from the ones that have collapsed. They learn not to make the mistakes those that have collapsed have made, they improve and adapt. Some use the mistakes of others to make them collapse so they can sustain. By knowing what they need to do to improve, they can make sure that they don’t collapse. Civilizations sustain with a social structure, a stable government, and a culture to prevent chaos and create trust. It must have the trust of the people so that they help the civilization rather than hurt it. The United States has a government that is somewhat stable. It has three branches that balance the work between them. Each branch has to make sure that the other branches don't have too much power over the others and that they don't make decisions that aren’t for the better of the civilization. The United States has checks and balances for that purpose. This idea has allowed the United States government to make sure that it can’t abuse it’s own power. It also must have enough control so that the government won’t be the reason that the civilization collapses, it must be able to overcome obstacles that stand in its way and not let it cause disorder within the government and the people. The United States also allows it people to vote on its officials and laws. This allows the people to make most of the decisions and control the people. The officials that the people elect must have the people trust if they are elected and that they are trusted to do what they are going to do what they say they were going to do. If the government is not worrying about problems within itself, it can have its focus on the people and making sure that they are happy and are trying their best to improve the civilization to sustain even longer.
