Europeans Relocating
The Renaissance laid out the foundations for the curiosity that the Europeans had about the Americas. One out of the three reasons why the Europeans wanted to relocate to the Americas was to enrich their individuals and nations by searching for a shorter route to Asia. They thought they could find this route by traveling westward. This soon led to the discovery of new lands including the Americas. In conclusion, the Renaissance’s stimulation in thinking, development of new scientific ideas, and improvements in navigational devices and ships, were main causes for the new explorations that ultimately led to the discovery of the Americas.

    From Leif Eriksson being the first European to sail to North America to Marco Polo making his first trip to china were the few things that were going on in the European discovery. During the 1100 the crusades joined the holy war to regain capture of Palestine which was taken away by the Muslims.
