Why Did People Move To The Westward Expansion

In the 1800 brave pioneers moved westward. People moved to the west for a number of reasons there was many Fears, Benefits, and Hazards of moving west.One of the reasons was they wanted land. If the family worked wanted a piece of land they would have to work there for five years, then they could own that piece of land. That one of the biggest reasons that people wanted to move to the west. They had to work hard so that they could have the land all to themselves.

Benefit means advantage and in the story, people are going to have an advantage of having their own piece of land. It said in the story.
"Among the commons of them was the promise of something better out west than they had in the east."(Source 2)
