When the invasion of Poland in 1939 began it wouldn’t be long before France and Britain
declared war and this would officially start world war two. At 4:45 1.5 million German troops marched
into Poland and almost simultaneously the Germans bombed the Airfields and attacked the Polish navy.
the Germans said that it was a defensive act but Britain and France weren’t buying it. For Hitler the
invasion would bring the Germans more living space. His plan was that the Germans would colonize
in Poland and the native slavs would be enslaved. As Hitler had already invaded Austria and

city to even terrorize the country further. Shortly later Poland was evacuated and Germany had taken
poland and despite france and britain having declared war on germany they did little to help out against

Germany and when France and Britain saw Germany tear apart Poland they were scared to take action
of fear of the same thing happening to them. Somehow it did happen though and started a terrible time
for our world and hope that nothing like this ever happens again.
