Why Did The British Win The Revolutionary War
If the British had won the Revolutionary War, I would not be sitting here writing this paper and you would not be reading this right now. Americans would not be Americans, but British. America would not even be around now and there would be no 50 states. Most of our ancestors would not have came if the British beat the Americans. Our ancestors came for independence, land, and economic gain, they came for a better life then they had where they were. Based on Britain back then, it was not like America at all. In Britain, people were fighting for land and they were sick of the king, whereas in America land was free for the people that wanted it and there was no king telling them what to do. If the British had won the Revolutionary War, they
might have took over the whole world. Britain was very powerful at the time and if they won they would have forced all the Americans under British rule or they would just have been told to leave Britain’s new land. There, trade would have increased steadily, finding new natural resources and supplies they needed. The supply for Britain would have increased and the demand would have decreased because they would have found all America’s natural resources. Britain would have became very rich and the people would have become powerful. Countries would have admired the wealth and natural resources America had. Countries may have had envy and planned to attack the British and have America has their own. The Spanish might have traveled their way to the southwest and claimed that land, the British would have held their control on the East Coast and the French could have came back to what was theirs before. Three powerful countries in one land. These countries might have fought and fought each other and they could have created another Revolutionary War, the British just fought. If the Americans lost the Revolutionary War, America would not be here today with 50 states and named the United States of America. If the British won, there would be a different world today and it just would not be the same as this world. It would have all been different if the Americans lost the war.
