The pilgrims started out in England. Due to the religions in England, the pilgrims moved to the Netherlands to follow their own religions. ‘‘In September 1620, a merchant ship called the Mayflower set sail from Plymouth, a port on the southern coast of England’’ -History.com. The Native Americans would call the Europeans the “white men”. The so called white men would put in traps to kill the animals and they also used guns. The Natives thought of the white men cruel and vicious. Can you survive a winter alone? We will soon be coming in for a landing. “The moment any of them gave up on the difficult work of living with their neighbors--and all of compromises, frustration, and delay that inevitably entail--they risked losing everything” -Nathaniel
