Why Did World War 1 Start
Before World War I, Britain had no alliances with any countries. Meanwhile, Germany, Austria, and Russia formed the Three Emperors League. But in 1879 the alliances started to fail when Germany and Russia started to fight. Germany wanted protection from Russia in case of war and formed a dual alliance with Austria and then Italy joined two years later, making it a triple alliance. But with all these alliances going on Britain started to get worried and went to France to form an alliance and in 1892 Russia joined the alliance. All the alliance split divisions were one of the key reasons why World War One started.
