Why Didn T Crystal Leave The Relationship?
Things that may have occurred during the relationship that made Crystal feel this way may be because of the continuous emotional and psychological abuse. When Crystal got called out by her boyfriend, there was constant name-calling, such as b***h and w***e. She felt embarrassed that everyone is looking at her and how her boyfriend is acting and saying. She also felt lonely when nobody would stand up for her when her boyfriend called her out. This could lower her self-esteem and attack her emotional and psychological well-being.
Two reasons why Crystal did not leave the relationship is because he threatens her that he will kill himself and that it was easier to stay and living with shame and guilt in secret. Crystal found her inner strength
