A child who committed a violent crime would only be put in juvie. This would teach them nothing kids who would come out of juvie would think crimes are ok to do and keep making them. If the crimes goes to a certain circumstance. If they were to steal and skip school they should be put in juvie, just more serious crimes like first or second degree murder should be put in jail.
All in all, kids who one degree murder, manslaughter, rape. Should have no chance to get out of jail over 300 kids who have committed a crime and killed someone have came out and they still continued to make them, this shows that when kids only go to juvie they think that if they keep doing crimes nothing will happen to them. A young 11 year old was realized when he killed two people, he was only put in jail for only 5 years. He is still roaming the streets.
