Boys can play any sport they want but the girls are not allowed to play certain ones because of their gender. To add on, some women can’t walk down the street without the fear of being harassed or in danger. Some people have to have a man right beside them to feel even a little bit safe. Furthermore, in Saudi Arabia women can’t vote. They can’t give any opinion about the future of their country without being in danger.

Being a women usually means that you will be payed less than if you were a man. Another thing girls are limited to is, education. They don’t get to go to school like the boys do.

Sudan has had more than one million women have their lives destroyed from rape or forced displacement. In Mali young girls are forced into early marriage and one in ten die during pregnancy or childbirth. In tribal border areas of Pakistan women are gang- raped as a punishment for a man's crime. Women in Saudi Arabia are deprived of the right to drive a car or mix men publicly, they are confined to be strictly segregated lives on pain severe punishments.
