If I had been there I would have sided with the radicals because the radicals conveyed change and freedom. The Radicals of the early revolutionary era were the Americans that were so outraged with British rule that they opposed every aspect of the government as well as its whole basis of control toward the Americans, and I believe that having that much passion for something is admirable.

I see school prayer as a moral issue because although it does state in the constitution the separation of church and state, I believe that this issue is just a conflict between religious people and liberal people that don’t believe in religion. I think it is morally wrong to force someone into a religion but I don’t see how prayer does that, if you don’t believe then don’t do the prayer and that is all.

The Declaration of Independence begins by stating general ideas about government. It talks about the government in general and how to make one work in harmony. It then states that nations have the right to be independent and self-ruling and the government is created by people for the purpose of serving their needs, as well as creating social order. It clearly says that the government is there for the people and to help them, and when a government fails to meet the people’s needs, the people have the right to make changes as might be necessary or even to abolish a government altogether and create a new one from scratch.
