Why Do Men Get Paid More Than Women?

People always say the harder you work the more money you will make, but is this really the case for everyone? The topic of men getting paid more than women has become a recent trending topic with many different people inputting different opinions. Recently the U.S. women's soccer team has been one of the leading pioneers in the case of gender pay gaps. On average when the U.S. women’s soccer team wins a game they get $1,300, if they lose they get nothing at all, if the men win they get $17,000, if the men lose they make $5,000. This means that basically win or lose the men always make more money than the women. Although you may say that the men are just plain more interesting to watch, which may be true to some, you would be surprised at the amazing things the U.S. women’s soccer team has done. Going back to the topic of the men being watched more, the U.S. women’s soccer team actually broke the record for the most watched soccer game in America’s history.
These women are so incredibly talented and hard working but can’t even play on real grass! They are forced to play on something called astroturf, it is a fake grass that if slid on could seriously injure or scrape your skin. And guess who gets to play on real grass every single game, if you guessed the men congrats you get a gold medal, which is more than the Men’s soccer team if I may add. The women have also won not one not two or three but FOUR Olympic Gold Medals, the men have won, now this may be a shock, none, yep none at all. Now the men actually made it to the third round in the World Cup, pretty impressive right? Well the women have won three of them. You read right, the women have taken the Fifa World Cup home three
