Why do we celebrate Martin Luther King JR day? Was it because his speech or his death? He showed that all colors are equal. Women and men should be treated as one. Martin Luther King JR is an interesting man, he stopped segregation, judgement and seperation. Why do we celebrate Martin Luther King JR we ask. Martin Luther King JR said what he thinks, meaning he spoke his mind. Martin died changing history, he died for us to be one family, one blended family. He inspired many to live the way they wanted, not to be afraid of speaking their mind, to DREAM a beautiful DREAM that one day will come true. Why is he important to us? His speech “I Have A Dream” tells us that people look at other people differently. Most people look at most people the way they see themself ’s. He had a DREAM, that white and colored people could eat together, play together, work together and live together. I believe he did what was right, many do not. He wanted a better life for children in the future. He sure helped many people change the way many families looked at each other. Martin did this for us we owe him one since he’s not here with us, we owe to his children he left behind for us. I wonder what Martin thought about what he did.
