They all have to listen the defense side and prosecutor side. The prosecutors and defense will have to do their job to make the criminal guilty or not guilty. The lawyers or attorneys have finished defending or prosecuting the criminal, the jury goes into a room and decide if the criminal is guilty or not guilty. The judge is there to explain the law, to say what evidence they may and may not use, and to control the hearings and trial. The jury has to agree on a verdict, but if the jury cannot agree on one a verdict than the trial is counted as a mistrial. Now we know how the jury system works, we can now judge to see the jury system is a good or bad. I think the jury system is bad because the jury system will judge the criminal and based their judgement on their verdict. If our jury system base the verdict off of their judgment, we may just be putting innocent people in jail or letting criminals go free. If we say jury say if the person is innocent that means they think he/she is trustworthy and the people said who said he/she was guilty that mean they think he’s not trustworthy. I know this because our minds are always making judgments when we see people's faces. I can support this by using what we used from what we have read about experiments. I know this because when people feel about themselves, they will sometimes not be able to focus in class and that means that their grade will decrease.
