Why do i want to be a nurse
Why do I want to be a Nurse?
I want to be a nurse because I enjoy being around people in their times of need and I get internal satisfaction by serving those that need help. I remember when I was just a kid and I played with my cousin that we were both nurses, I grew up saying I wanted to be a nurse and that is when I realized my passion for nursing. I believe that the cure for many of the people's ailments is not just in medicine, it is in the care that they receive as patients in hospitals and their homes. I believe that it is important to provide a patient with the right kind of atmosphere and environment that is conducive to his/her recovery. It is important to keep the room of the patient a place where he/she feels the soothing and healing effects from the environment.
I think nursing not only includes taking care of patients and helping out the doctors. I believe that there is some art to nursing as well, other than all the education and science involved of course. I believe that that caring is the essence of nursing.
Even though I am absolutely positive that a career in nursing is what I want in life, I still have some concerns. My biggest concern is that I will become too attached to my patients. I am a very compassionate person and I want so badly to be a positive influence in the patients life. H

A practical nurse is something I would really like and enjoy to do. I feel I have the strength, courage, and potential to overcome and do anything that life gives me. I honestly believe anyone can do and/or overcome anything as long as you put your mind and hard work into it. I love to help other people in any way possible, if that involves putting a grocery cart back for someone, or even letting someone cross the street. I know I was put on this earth to help people, because that is all I can seem to do. I’m not saying I don’t stress and have a few breakdowns because everyone does, but you have to live life to the fullest and just be happy, because things could be a lot worse. I’ve found life goes smoother when you add a smile and live for the day. Now you know a few reasons why I would love to become an…

Nursing is closely related with caring because you cannot be a successful nurse if you do not demonstrate any emotion/compassion to your patient. We as professionals should understand that nursing involves caring for everyone regardless of what they believe in, what mistakes they have committed, or what they look like. Being a nurse is such an honorable profession because we are the person who helps patients get through tough situations. Nursing is integrated into the nursing practice because the relationship built between the patient and nurse is initialized by the patient feeling cared for. In order for a patient to allow you to administer any medications, injections, or other healthcare treatments, the patient must trust that you are treating them with the same care you would if they were a loved one.…

I chose nursing as my profession because nursing is an integral part of who I am. I have always known I wanted to be a nurse. To care for people in need with compassion and empathy. When I was young I would make makeshift hospitals and treat any animal could get my hands on. I have always been fascinated by anatomy and physiology, so far as to operate and dissect on worms when I was younger. When I accidentally found my way into perioperative nursing I felt that I had found my calling.…

I believe that nursing is both art and a science consisting of psychosocial and biological sciences that work together to continually improve the health care field. As a nurse it is crucial to carry the attributes of being caring, compassionate, understanding, nonjudgmental, realistic, open-minded, honest, ethical, and moral. I also feel that it is important to maintain sensitivity to all cultures when providing care. I believe it takes someone with a huge heart to do what nurses do. Some things you cannot be taught. Nursing is a career not just a job, nursing is treating people as a disease, but as a unique individual who has his/her own values, beliefs, needs, and also treat the family with respect, compassion, patience, and show that we care. I chose nursing because I have always liked helping people. Ever since I was a little girl I liked helping and I would tell my dad that if he was ever sick I would take care of him so he could get better. At first I wanted to be a doctor, a pediatrician to be exact, but I chose nursing because, nurses have more contact with patients and nursing school is shorter than medical school. I know I made the right choice because as I have been doing clinicals, I have been falling more and more in love with what nurses do, but throughout the process I have also seen what kind of nurse I do not want to be. During clinicals there was an agency nurse a patient did…

My career choice is to be an R.N. (registered nurse). For starters, registered nurses (RNs) are not limited to working in hospital settings. RNs can also work in clinics, schools, assisted living facilities, homes, and more. They can also specialize in areas such as cardiac care, midwifery, family practice, geriatrics, labor and delivery and emergency nursing. Basic registered nursing duties: Nursing responsibilities can vary greatly depending on the healthcare setting. But in an average day, RNs might administer medication, consult with other healthcare providers, monitor patients, educate individuals and family and be responsible for managing medical records.
