Bitten by a poisonous radioactive spider, Peter Parker gained incredible speed, strength, human ability, and powers of a spider. One of the main reasons that Spiderman is still popular to this day is due to the fact that we are able to relate to him. Spiderman’s biggest obstacles are not supervillain but his daily ordinary life that he has just like us humans. He can’t pay his bills, he feels left out and unpopular, he has relationship troubles and he is worried about disappointing his Aunt. Even though he always helps and tries his best to fight crime and fight for justice, the public still insults him and he is unappreciated. Goku was introduced as an eccentric boy who often practiced martial arts and has superhuman strength. He is still popular to this day and some argue that he is more popular than Superman. Goku is popular due to the fact that he was just an ordinary little boy that practiced martial arts and became a monster with super human strength and many kids want to do the same thing. They look up and relate to him because he faced many problems in his life, but he never quit or complained, he never gave up, he always fought and tried his best and at the end he became the superhero he is. Goku has a positive influence on his audience because he is known for being a charm, welcoming person. He is always happy and no matter who you were, as long as you are kind, you were Goku’s friend. He never judged anyone for who they were or what they looked like, instead he welcomed everybody to be his friend with open arms which is setting a good example for his viewers. Many people used Goku’s series as a way to escape from stress. After a hard day at work or school, they come home and watch their favorite superhero beat up villains and make friends at the same time. Goku has endured for much longer time than many other fictional characters due to the fact that he is such a likable, and optimistic character.
