What is more deadly a thought or a gun?A gun is more deadly because guns don’t trigger a response to words. Guns shouldn’t be banned because guns aren’t creating crimes they’re just the tool used to commit the crime,so guns don’t need to be banned.Guns shouldn’t be banned because guns provide protection, safety, and confidence.

Guns don’t need to banned.Guns don’t need to be banned because then someone couldn’t provide protection against a criminal who smuggled guns.Say if a criminal who smuggled guns decided to take your money and you had no firearm, then you would have no protection against someone who had a firearm. This shows how vulnerable we would be if not a person had any way to protect themselves from a criminal. Guns have no need to

As far as banning certain types of guns, that statement was made out of pure ignorance. Mills has written things like, “It is a moral outrage and national disgrace that civilians can legally purchase weapons designed to kill people with brutal speed and efficiency.” First off if you’re going to talk about guns, know a little something about them. There are people like Mills who want to ban “assault weapons” because they believe that they are uniquely dangerous firearms that are equal to the destruction of a machine gun. False! The assault weapons that are available to civilians are like another semi-automatic weapon, they fire one bullet with one pull of the trigger. They’re not stronger, faster or anything else, what sets them apart is the…

Guns have been a part of the American lifestyle for over two hundred years, so why are our citizens trying to ban them now? Gun control takes away the rights of the citizens, the government has laws in place to keep you safe, and banning guns won’t make the problem go away.…

    A. Bad evaluation of circumstances and stubbornness instead of perseverance. Shackleton was ready to depart to Antarctica however; just when he was at South Georgia, local seamen warned him that he might get trapped and advised him to wait until next year. At this point he had the opportunity to make a decision and wait, but due to the compromises reached with his sponsors and the conditions in Britain getting in WWI he took a risk to go forth and as a result, underestimate the situation. This I can consider to be the main crisis.…

Gun control can be looked at from many different viewpoints from many different people. Some people believe that all crime will be stopped while others think it will only increase. Guns should not be banned in the U.S because banning them will not make the killers stop, good people need to help, and making guns illegal will just lead to people disobeying the law.…

Because of this, it may be in the citizens’ favor to ban or limit the availability and ownership of these sorts of guns. Furthermore, many people want to be able to possess guns in order to protect themselves, however research shows that they are rarely used for self defense. Some people use self defense as a reason for having looser gun control law, but “Of the 29,618,300 violent crimes committed between 2007 and 2011, 0.79% of victims (235,700) protected themselves with a threat of use or use of a firearm”. Since it is very uncommon that victims even use guns for protection, it seems unnecessary that America allows everyone to possess such a dangerous weapon after all the people that have been put in danger because of it. In conclusion, for all the devastation guns have caused, America should have stronger gun control laws as it is very important to think about the lives and safety of the citizens above all…

Gun Safety has been a big topic that people are speaking of all the time. The Second Amendment says that citizens have the right to bear arms. That amendment was created for militias as America had become free and they didn’t want any surprise attacks from Britain incase they tried to take America back, now America and Britain are close allies. Everyday on the news there’s always a shooting and maybe it’s because guns are easy to access. I do not think that civilians need guns. Now some might argue that the police are corrupt and that they don’t want to rely on the police to do something that they can handle but that is their job. If guns are banned than their needs to be higher protection against smuggling as criminals will obviously not…

Guns do a lot of bad, but do a lot more good for society. Banning guns will not stop the problem, but will just make it worse. Guns are apart of our society as Americans they have been around since colonial years, and are not leaving anytime soon. “The number of guns in America has increased by more than 50 percent since 1993, and in that same period the gun homicide rate in the United States has dropped by half. (Kristof, The Times).” Guns offer protection for individuals. One day you could be in the wrong place at the wrong time, and a shooting breaks out, you will pray there is someone else there with a concealed firearm to help control the situation while waiting for police to arrive. They can’t do that if guns are banned. “We need to understand that we cannot stop crimes and murders. And banning guns would be a step, or two, backwards instead of moving forward in the right direction (The Times News).” The research conducted to produce this paper was drawn from a multitude of sources all with different…

The first reason that guns should be banned for ordinary citizens is that guns are the sign of violence. Guns are made for killing and harming other human beings. In many states there are “Shoot First” laws that allow people to defend themselves in public using guns with no duty to retreat. The Shoot First law can be dangerous to other people who are present in the area and people can get injured and killed. Why should governments allow people to own and carry guns in the name of protection? When there are law and police in a country people do not…

Banning guns all together would never work in this country, to many people own one or more guns and very few would freely hand their weapons over to the government. To many American’s support the second amendment for anything to be passed and I also believe that if it was passed that people would fight to keep the guns they have. The government would literally have to go to every house in United States and search them for all fire arms if all weapons are banned, and that just isn’t possible. Also, making guns harder to get would not affect most criminals to get guns because the majority of…

Are you tired of not being able to go to the store and fear that maybe just one day something terrible might happen? I believe that we should not have the right to own guns. The government should not give citizens the right to obtain firearms not only so we can decrease the crime rates but to make sure the people feel safe. The only way to guarantee safety is to knock firearms out of our population as much as possible.…

A ban on guns will be expensive, hard and will generate a black market for guns. We do not need another black market for firearms. Usually when something is banned, criminals start to capitalise on the demand and try make gangs to ship guns everywhere and it is these times when the mortality rate is higher (the drug wars). We may need to try other ways to dissuade criminals such as improvements in the health system.…

I believe that guns should not be banned in the US. “Guns don’t kill people, people kill people.” I am sure most of us have heard this saying at some point in our lives. Surely, it is a statement of the obvious, but the logic behind it rings true. It may seem rational to ban guns entirely to prevent people from killing, but it is not the guns themselves that are the problem. That is just a simple solution to a complex problem. The criminals who kill others are willing to break the law and risk going to prison for the rest of their lives to murder, yet they are expected to follow firearm laws? If a nationwide gun ban is enacted, criminals will not suddenly follow the law and reject the thought of buying a firearm on the black market. Banning all guns in the United States would be irrational because it would not lower crime or prevent firearm-related murders.…

In 2008, sixty seven percent of murders were committed in the United States with guns, sixty seven percent is 10,886 out of 16,272 crimes that involved guns. (Agresti, James D) More gun control could decrease that number significantly. Gun constrictions will not hinder Americans hunting or hobbies, it will help stop the shooter from getting guns. Even though people think that guns are not a problem, there needs to be more restrictions on guns because it would decrease shootings and mass murders, it would reduce deaths and injuries associated with guns, and civilians do not need semi-automatic weapons.…

I hope you all are well and in good spirits. Macy’s is an excellent choice for your group project. Macy’s is a global chain of stores and is known as the world’s best retailer. As a teenager growing up in New York City, I loved traveling downtown to the 34th Street location. Also, I would go to the locations in the Bronx (Park Chester), Queens Center mall and Cross County Mall in Yonkers. The variety of goods and high quality of brand names were the centers of attraction. I remember saving money from my after school job, to purchase Calvin Klein jeans, Ralph Lauren polo shirts and Tommy Hilfiger boxers from Macy’s.…

Antacids are defined as a substance, generally a base, which counteracts stomach acidity. The name antacid means anti-acid (against acid). Antacids are the primary treatment for ailments such as gastric reflux, gastritis, upset stomach and heartburn. Hydrochloric acid is secreted by the stomach to kill harmful organisms, aid digestion and activate digestive enzymes. Excess secretion of acid into stomach or impaired resistance by the lining of the stomach or reflux into the oesophagus may produce symptoms and the treatment of these symptoms is by reducing the acidity in the stomach.…
