In the work place Administrative Medical Assistant need exceptionally good human relations or human skills. MAA are constantly interacting with patients, you have to be able to get along with everyone in every culture, and race. MAA need to have value in being interested in other people’s problems, and when you care about others and their need needs, people will open up to you and by understanding people better makes a huge difference in your ability to positively influence others. Having excellent interpersonal skills are a beneficial also, being able to form relationships with co-workers creates better unity and team self-motivation. Workers having characteristics like empathy respect and a true gentle heart is essential when working with sick patients but also applies with co-workers in the office. Learning is also significant for MAA; technology is changing all the time, so being able to learn new developments of the way of doing mechanisms is crucial in a competitive workplace. I believe that human relations in a workplace are very imperative because when you are hired by a company you are working with people of different backgrounds and it is vital to understand that we are all unique in that we have different aptitudes and capabilities. Respect your work colleagues and be able to adapt to any changes that occur at your place of work, also important to treat co-workers as you would want to be treated .You also need to be flexible with an open mind, and being able to do your job promptly and resourcefully. Planning within the medical office is so imperative; it increases the organization ability to adapt to future outcomes. Planning help develop objectivities, gives direction to the motions to be performed and focuses attention on the results desired.
