Passion drives you to be excellent, to be outstanding, and to be talent. When a person have passion about their job, tasks, or duties they love what they do. When working with children at a preschool age, I feel that passion is most important. I want to get the feeling of someone looking up to me and saying because of you I didn’t give up, whether it’s a child or their parent. A role model is someone we admire, someone we desire to be like. Role Models inspire and encourage to strive for greatness and to notice the good within one’s self. However, role models can be anyone, role models can be parents, neighbors, siblings and so on but, some of the most life changing role models are teachers. In some cases teachers are the only role models (educational role models) that they may know or ever

In 1938, a law known as the child labor law was passed rebelling against children and young teens working. Although, the law was passed there are a few things you can still do as a young teen. When I was eleven years old I realized just how much of a passion I had for helping take care of children. In realizing that, I also discovered not many people could not stand all the steps and things you had to do to meet children's needs such as changing diapers, burping babies, dealing with crying and tantrums. Even at a young age I did not mind doing these tasks.…

My main reason for wanting to become a teacher is because I love children and I love working with them. Upon graduation from Boston College, I've had the opportunity of working in New York City public schools as a substitute teacher and at a privately owned nursery school in the Bronx as a part-time instructor. My experiences have been very rewarding thus far and have inspired me to want to continue along this path and seek further knowledge in the field. I can't even begin to describe the joyous feeling of knowing that I've touched the lives of the kids-- it is truly priceless. When kids pass tests, when kids say, "I get it," when kids come in and say, "Thanks. You're the best teacher I ever had," or "will we have you again" that means a lot. They make me laugh, they give me hugs, they cheer for my presence, they are observant, and most of them just need a little push. They give me nicknames, they miss me when I'm gone, they try so hard to do what I ask so much of the time. The most amazing feeling of all though is when the kids tell me they want to be just like me and teach just like me and are able to go in front of the class and teach others what I have just taught them. I have finally discovered what I am truly passionate about and am pursuing this passion by continuing my education so that I am able to fulfill my goal of being the best that anyone possible could be. This is what has driven me to want to go to Mercy and continue my education to become a teacher.…

There are numerous biblical parallels in Peter Weir's 'The Truman Show'. In 'The Truman Show', Christof described the TV show as something that 'gives hope, joy and inspiration to millions'. The same can be said for the bible. The parallels can be seen even from the beginning of the movie, when Truman sees the light from the sky and begins to see the truth.…

I knew I wanted to work with kids when I got older and help them find learning just as fun and exciting as I did.
