Why I Move To America?
From a young age I’ve always relished shooting games and watching movies with numerous amounts of shooting scenes, I guess that’s what guided me in my way to be-come the greatest assassin who ever lived…
I come from Russia however I currently reside in America. The main reason why I moved to America is I wanted to be in a place surrounded with people who could train me on how to become a proficient assassin. I weigh 65kg and I stand at 6ft tall, according to my sagacious trainer I had just met the criteria to be a professional assassin. Growing up in poverty wasn’t easy and it was because of men like Vladimir Putin (Russia’s president). We would have to move houses very often because of his awful opinions on house tax and we would have little very to eat. I have so much abhorrence towards Russian politicians I wanted to kill them as fast and mercilessly as a snake would hold an innocent mouse. Vengeance was mine it was time I gave these “Politicians” a taste of their own medicine.

After countless years of working I finally transported myself to America. It did not take me long to settle in America as I quickly found a job just in case I was ever questioned on why I made so much money. My next step was to buy an apartment but not just any apartment I needed a substantial one, to hide my guns, money etc. I had security

I knew where I would be shooting the president and I had the most suitable weapons for the assassination I was the first person on the agenda to kill the president however if I missed my cousin, who was in the agency and my security guard had gas grenades on him that would have killed the President if I failed. It was Martin Luther King’s day. The president was required to make a speech on how inspirational of a man Martin Luther King was. (Obviously Putin couldn’t give a toss about how great of a man Martin Luther was, but he had just to keep his reputation and look like a “good

People always say that living in a large city is a great quality, they like it because it let them get a lot of benefits; in my opinion, every place has its drawbacks; there is no perfect place that we can say: “It is formidable”. In the other hand, they are people who hate living in a large city, and they prefer the small one. As far as I live in Raleigh, I do not like it due to three reasons: change of weather, few means of transportation, and quiet life.…

It was a beautiful morning in Texas, the skies were blue, and there no clouds in sight. Gazing out of the airplane window, I saw the words Mei Guo— “beautiful country” in Chinese—painted on the airport terminal. My mother and I immigrated to America when I was a small child from Taishan, China. She aimed to remove me from a life where society would limit my options and ostracize me due to my father’s blindness from Retinitis Pigmentosa and the family’s lack of proper education. My father was willing to let go of his only child because he, too, knew it would open infinite opportunities for me to succeed. Though my new life in America seemed prosperous at first, I soon realized I needed to create opportunities for myself despite our lack of resources.…

I came to America about 13 years ago from Sri Lanka and I’ve had experiences in this country that I think are very unique. Both of my parents worked so hard to bring my brother and I to America, because they knew that if we wanted the best future we’d have to be here. I never truly realized the impact America has had on me and my family. I come from an Indian/Sri Lankan background and being able to see so much acceptance of our culture here is truly amazing. Although I have had experiences with racism here, I think these last 2 years have made a huge impact on diversity and truly accepting that everyone is equal.…

Living in America really shows the true meaning of freedom. America is one of the only countries known to give its citizens freedom to do what they want. The Amendments of the Constitution play a major role in what keeps America and its citizens free; without them our society would get nowhere, the amendments act as a guide to keep the citizens safe and fairly treated. They set up all our laws and let every citizen know and understand their rights as a human being. All it takes is one mistake or for you to mess up once and you can get all your freedom and rights taken away from you. Getting in trouble with the law can change everything in the blink of an eye. Once you get put in jail or prison you are then known as property. The government now owns you until you have served your time; the jail or prison can do what ever they want with you without anyone having a say in it, you are no longer considered a citizen. The amount of time you have to serve will depend on how bad the crime you did was. If it was bad enough you may get put in prison for life.…

People often say things about how the United States, with its revolutionary political and economic system, must have been around for a long time in order to achieve the world standing it holds today. This isn’t the case though. In fact, when compared to great civilizations like the Roman Empire which lasted almost 12 centuries, many would say that the United States is still in its infancy. Much in the same way, the political and economic systems the U.S. is famous for are seen to be derived from past civilizations as well. But this of course leads us to asking the inevitable questions of where did it all begin, and what caused people to settle here in America of all places. In order to answer this however, we have to look back past explorers and crusades. Past the kings, uprisings, revolts, and trade routes. We must go back in time to the Roman Empire itself, specifically in the year 476 BCE; the time when everything was falling apart in Rome.…

Appealing as travel may be, I have not had the opportunity to wander much outside of the southeastern United States. Even when I have had the chance to venture, it has been to visit loved ones or vacation for a few days. I am not stating this for anyone to empathize with me, but rather to express the fact that I have never experienced another culture outside of the U.S., and other than watching the nightly world news, I am not aware of non-American issues. As a privileged American, I know there are many ways to help other countries, if only we got to experience the problem first-hand. Personally, I believe this trip would help me gain a new understanding of current global issues, as well as what the future brings regarding those issues.…
