Dentistry is about more than a pearly white smile. Dentistry, as defined by dictionary.com, is a branch of medicine that deals with the diagnoses, prevention, and treatment of diseases of the teeth, gums, and other structures of the mouth. I believe pediatric dentistry is the calling for me because I adore children and I truly believe that every child has the right to take care of their teeth from a young age.
