It takes more than just a bachelor's degree to become a physical therapist. It usually takes 5 years to get the bachelor's degree. For a master’s, or anything more than a bachelors will take about 4 more years to accomplish. I will then transfer to a DPT program in order towhich I will study more in depthdeeply about the human body and the skills I will be using. In the end, I would like to pass the National Physical Therapy Examination administered by the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy. Depending on the uUniversity I go to, I plan to live at home instead of paying for room and board. I plan to pay for my education by working. I will get a part time job at either the uUniversity or outside. Either or, I want to be able to pay it off that way. If the amount that I have to pay is too high, even with scholarships and FAFSA, I plan to take a loan. Other hopes and goals that I have for the future is to be able to find an internship that can further enhance my skills and actually give me experience in the field of a physical therapist.
