Full-time emergency medical technicians receive medical, dental and retirement plans. They receive sick days and vacation leave. Emergency medical technicians could also receive benefits for their spouse and children (“Wages” 1.) These benefits will really be useful and will help money if something was to happen to me. When it comes to job prospects, emergency medical technicians have a fairly easy time finding a job. Major employers to emergency medical technicians are hospitals. The growth rate for emergency medical technicians is and has been increasing for some time now (“Employment and Outlook” 1). Emergency medical technicians will always be needed and this job is not something that will just disappear.
