Firstly, the gender stereotype of nurse is changing. The government had hiring more nurses not only the female but also the male so as to solve the problem of supply does not meet the demand. The popularity of male nurse is raised increasingly. There will be more manpower to serve for the patients, it will be favorable for the society. To consider the reason why I want to be a nurse, to some extent, it is because of my mother and my religion. When I was three years old, my mother was in a coma for half and a month in the hospital because of asthma. Since some of the brain cells were died when she lost consciousness, therefore she needed to rely on the wheel chain instead of walking until now. I could feel how challenging she was when sitting on this wheel chain for 16 years. I know this is a regret if the mother cannot accompany and witness their children grow up. I am a Christian and a girl who is optimistic, positive and patient. I like communicate with everyone and design some jokes to share with everyone. Besides, after doing the VIA Survey, I discovered my top five characters are love, perseverance, teamwork, fairness and kindness. Being a nurse always need to work around the clock, but I believe that my perseverance and teamwork can help me to pass through it as long as I concentrate on it. I am convinced I can learn a lesson and obtain some benefit no matter what I encountered before. My experience inspired me to be a professional nurse to take care every patient from physically and psychologically. For example, a case of the patient who was resulted in death as the nurse gave excessive morphine to her. Indecisive and reckless are my weakness which will lead me make the mistakes unconsciously. Inadequate of self-confidence is the major reason why I will have hesitation when I need to give my own advice and knowledge for the patients. I afraid that I will mislead him/her and bother their original judgment. If I want to be more determined, I need to grasp every opportunity to practice more and ask the teachers automatically whenever I have any misunderstanding.
