I believe that the US educational system provides students with a more practical environment which allows them to develop their potential to it's fullest. Ever since I was a child, I've always been looking for such kind opportunity. I've always fantasized about how developing new talents and improving on my old ones could make me a great asset to myself and to my community at large. This simple believe of mine is what is driving me to go to college in the United States. I want to make a difference in my community. I want to improve on the life of every breathing soul around me and the entire nation, and that is why I want to acquire a license in civil engineering from the US after college. I left for my hometown to help mourn her death. When the mourning days were over, I decided to stay and volunteer at the school there for a while. I taught six subjects to the grade five students of that school. Watching the children grow and flourish and become passionate about their learning was a joy that brought great pleasure to me. There was this sense of excitement, hope, joy and determination that somehow flows through my veins each single day I wake up and prepare to impact onto those deprived but lovely kids my experiences and knowledge. I always encouraged them to embrace and be inspired by the world around them. With time, my bond with these academic warriors became far beyond what I could ever imagine. It made me so happy to know that not only did I have an impact on the lives of those kids and their families, but I was also contributing to the development of my small village in a very special way. “The kids are our future leaders.” I always tell
