Why I Want To Pursue A Career As A Registered Nurse

I always wanted to pursue a career in which I will be able to help, and care

for individual. Working as a registered nurse in a psychiatric mental health hospital

have greatly increased my confidence and developed my interpersonal skills, which

lead me directly to psychiatric nursing; a career that requires patience and

empathy.

After 10 years as a mental health worker, I earned a License Practical Nurse,

and later on, I become a registered nurse with the ambition to develop expertise and leadership in my specialty area to serve the mental health population, their family, and the community as a whole.

I am highly motivated to earn a master degree in Psychiatric Mental Health

In order to foster professional’s skills
that will allow me to fulfill my goal to have the

opportunity to start my own private practice in the years to come. This

will contribute to the health, education, and social structure of the community,

the state state, and the nation. . I choose FDU because I intent to pursue a career in Psychiatric mental Health, and

FDU has good education and a great reputation regarding the mental health

program.
