When I got off the boat, the people’s faces priceless. Some of the faces of the people were crying for joy, smiling, or were sad because they miss someone or are sick. The officers gave me a tag to keep track of all of the passengers. My next stop was the medical room. When we were walking up to the room the doctors looked at us if we were walking funny. The medical exam was in a huge room called the registry room. It was 200 feet long and 102 feet wide. The first exam was a six second physical. The doctors just looked at us to see if we were sick. I passed the exam and then I walked to the hall for a legal inspection. The officers call mine name, and asked me 29 questions. Most of the questions were for adults not me. I walked up the steps of separation. There was three passages. The left one was people going to New York, The one in the center was for the people that are going, and on the rights was to get tickets out of New York City.
