Cemeteries by far hold a good majority of historical significance because no one could know who was buried there, some graves are unmarked mostly due to the fact that there weren’t very many methods around so that stones could be carved, they had to be hand made.
Old buildings for example if they were made of stone had to be completely made first before the buildings could even be completed because bricks had to be cut and baked before even placed in the structure of the building. Rosemead CA is home to the Savannah Memorial Park where thousands of San Gabriel Valley pioneers that have been there for a very long time, it is said that the park is supposed to be get taken over by another business that wants to build over the grave sites. This site must be preserved for the purposes that this a historical site and these kinds of things need to be remembered by the society that exists
now. All historical sites and memorials serve all sorts of importance to history and the families of these people find these a good way to remember their family members that have fallen through the course of history, such as the 9/11 memorial and more importantly the Vietnam memorial that was built in a more recent time period. A handful of these memorials were built a long time ago, but all of them contain natural beauty in some shape or form. The Vietnam memorial is made out of marble and the names carved into it make it ten times even more beautiful, I have never been there before in my life, but it’s an amazing site. With this memorial, this gives the families of the memorial victims a chance to know that their family members have fought to serve the country that they love and that they will never be forgotten. Washington D.C. is home to many beloved memorials that many of people choose to visit them every day, just showing how important they truly are to many people in this country. A good majority of these memorials have taken a very long time to build, especially when everyone back then didn’t have all the fancy tools that we have now. For example, both the Washington and Lincoln memorials took a long period of time to build, however; with the tools that we have now, it takes a shorter amount of time to build the newer memorials that we have now. The Mall is known a strip of historical sites and memorials in Washington D.C. and of recently, the National Holocaust was built to commemorate all the people who have been through the horrible genocide of the Jews that was committed by the notorious dictator of Nazi Germany. This memorial took time to build just like all the other memorials that are in the Mall, making it just important as all the rest of them that are present. Obviously, these memorials have played a vital role in modern and old times of American history, these wonderful structures are used to acknowledge all of those who have fallen and fought for this country, it’s good to remember all the people who have done their hardest and best for the great country this is. The fundamentals of all these sites are reasons as to why they are still here with us today, yes, people may disagree with them, but it’s always for the benefit of other people. All of them are beautiful and they all have some sort element in them that makes them the way that they are. The historical events that are related to these memorials and they are so significant to what happens today in our country and they deserve to remain here for the preservation of our history.
