Why Is America Still Relevant Today

According to Thomas Paine in his book, “Rights of Man”, America is a place of diversity where everyone is different yet we are still equal which is still very true today. America is a place where you can be who you want to be since it is a place where you can be who you are without being unaccepted. While in today’s world this is true, there are still people out there that have their differences creating problems against this. However, we are still as diverse as ever and even with our differences like people who have money and those who are less fortunate as them, we take our differences and we learn from each other to grow as a country. In today’s society, everywhere you go you will see different types of people, cultures, and languages in America. It is a land of equals, however, back in history this was not always true. There was a time when people of different skin color like African American people, were not given the rights that they deserved and this resulted in riots and people in America were fighting
Having a wide range of diverse people may be difficult at times because of the fact that all these differences can lead to some conflict since not everyone may agree with each other at times. When it comes to politics in today’s society this problem can easily occur, for example, our president Donald Trump who had to face many problems during the election because of that fact people simply did not agree with the way he wanted to govern America. In fact, Trump himself was unjust towards people that were different from him like how he wanted to deport all our Mexican people in this world. This is just one of the examples of where diversity can easily relate to problems but despite this people who live here know that America will never stop having a beautiful array of different cultures and
