Why Is Animal Testing Unnecessary

Animal experimentation: Unnecessary Necessity. It is saddening to think the past half a century’s discoveries are made by torturing and killing innocent animals. According to PETA, each year more than one hundred million faultless animals are being testing on using barbaric methods such as implanting tumors, inhalation of poisonous gases and many more. This just shows how it is important for us as humans being to care about other living things, too. Testing on animals is cruel/unnecessary and should no longer be performed. According to Humane Society International, over one hundred million animals like fish, rats, rabbits, guinea pigs, cats, dogs, mini-pigs, and monkeys are tortured by using methods like force feeding, implanting tumors, forced inhalation, food deprivation, and prolonged periods of physical restraint.
