Why Is Billy Brown Considered Unimportant To Other Character

As told to us in the play Billy Brown has now taken over his father job. A man who never have his own life who had to follow in his father's footsteps. Even being now an adult Billy is still consider unimportant to other character. This moment in the play is where Billy begins to start wanting to become like Dion Anthony. He is tired of Magaret only caring about him and not himself. He only decides to help Dion just because of Magaret though the latter does not to seem to have a happy life. Dion drunks and has though all these things is what Billy Brown does not have in his own life. The way that he is talking to Dion represent how he is jealous of him because he has Magaret for a wife. He always knew that Billy Brown wanted Magaret but she
did not want him. So now he has chosen to take matters into his own hands and get Magaret for himself. We also saw how Dion does not have only Magaret but Cybel which prompts Billy to try and get her as well. At this point Billy Brown just wants to get anything that Dion has that includes even girls that he has even met. This is coming from someone who has no life of his own and wants his best friend's life because it better than his own. But, this backfires on Billy Brown as begins to go into a downfall in an attempt to take over Dion Anthony's life.
