Why Is Bottled Water Better Than Tap Water

I’ve always preferred bottled water to tap water because of the taste. Bottled water always tasted fresher and cleaner. According to document 2 it states, “Once the water enters the bottled water plant several processes are employed to ensure that it meets the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) purified water standard.” This shows that even though it tastes clean, it goes through many processes so it can meet the potential of the FDA. Unlike tap water, bottled water does not contain any chlorine. In document 1, the chart shown says tap water contains chlorine and often times fluoride. Bottled water does not have any of this, making it the safer option to drink. Although it is more expensive than tap water, it is definitely worth drinking
