Why Is Donald Trump Unethical
Donald Trump

With all the controversy, abusive, and abrasive behavior some might say this has been the messiest presidential election to date. With the upcoming election underway both democratic and republicans have been under complete scrutiny. Some more than others involved in lawsuits abusive rallies, blatantly racial bashing, and scandals the list of un-American traits continue. Through it all Presidential candidate Donald Trump seems to embrace it with open arms.

Due to Donald Trump’s lack of political experience, preoccupation with multiple careers, and blatantly self-serving intentions, he should not ever have been considered a reasonable candidate for the 2016 presidential election. First of all, Donald Trump is a businessman-not

Roosevelt. On the other hand we have Mr. Trump, not even elected yet concentrated full force into going into war already. With the ISIS attacks and recent bombings Trump simply suggested “take out the terrorist” families. Suggested that we bring back the ability of torturing captives for information. Also holding them prisoner without trial. Most are under the impression that this non combative presidential candidate if elected will dive head first into war any chance available. After just ending a serious stint overseas financially and fatality the United States took a big hit. Therefore we question if it’s smart to prematurely be so certain to dive into more which comes with, if elected presidential candidate Donald Trump.

With all the controversy, distrust, and lack of sheer knowledge I feel as if Donald Trump is not a great candidate to be the President of the United States. The endless possibilities of moving backwards in society is far too great a risk to take. No one should be threatened to be kicked out of a country they reside in. Also no one should be looked down upon because of their race. He simply shows the people that no matter how rich, financially stable, or having a worldwide name just doesn’t make you an automatic win these days for presidency. Knowledge is

The election had surprises for both sides. On the Republican side most people were surprised Donald Trump was elected Republican Nominee. On the Democratic side, everyone was surprised on how long it took for Hillary Clinton to beat the unknown senator Bernie Sanders. These two are the exact opposites. Trump believes that we should build a wall between Mexico and the United States, and Mexico will pay the bill. He also says that he will temporarily ban Muslim immigrants from certain countries. Clinton, on the other hand,…

Roosevelt on January, 6, 1941 addressed the issues of America’s national security and the threat of peace throughout international countries during the second year of World War II. During Roosevelt’s State of the Union speech for Congress, he acknowledged the need for the United States to supplement Britain with enough defense weapons in order for them to defeat the dictators in Germany. Roosevelt along with the majority of Americans feared that the dictatorship developing in Europe would disrupt world peace and take away from the American democracy system. Although it was Roosevelt’s initial intention to stay away from the World War and remain at peace, he realized that “The happiness of future generations of Americans may well depend upon how effective and how immediate we can make our aid felt.”(Doc.#19, Pg.78). Therefore, he decided on behalf of America to contribute to the war by immediately manufacturing defense weapons to give to Britain to help defeat the dictators. Even though Roosevelt hoped the United States’s contributions to Britain would end the war, he also recognized that in order to restore the peace in America, America may need to enter the war if directly affected, which was likely. The importance of Roosevelt’s decision to contribute had a significant impact on the outcome of the war since it prepared the United States for entry while making the defense stronger. Not only did it have an impact on the war…

First off, WE'RE SCREWED. It was the last presidential election of our time. The candidates were terrible. It was either World War III(Hillary) or The Purge(Trump) and I guess America chose The Purge. So, I guess it's time to say goodbye to all people of mixed or other ethnicities, because Trump's gonna make us all go back. Time to say goodbye to those we befriended and growled to love. Goodbye to all the things that actually make this country GREAT. He says, "Let's Make America Great Again," but does he really mean it. America was created as a place where people all over the world can come and make something of themselves. Now it's a place where we look down on those who are different or those of us will different talents. We judge people…

Franklin D. Roosevelt knew he had to defend his sacred nation. Roosevelt did not go out seeking to join the war but knew at some point the U.S would be provoked. “When the dictators are ready to make war upon us, they will not wait for an act of war on our part…. They, not we, will choose the time and the place and the method of their attack.” A year after Roosevelt insisted that America would not jump into a war without reason, the Japanese attacked, launching America into another World War.…

After learning more about the Watergate scandal, I think that Richard Nixon calling the Watergate break-in “a crappy little thing that didn`t work” is frankly bullshit (excuse me language). This is coming from someone who actually admires much of what Richard Nixon got done as President, but no matter how much he accomplished as President Watergate looms over it all like a dark cloud. Everything about the scandal was at best unethical and at worst illegal. The scandal all start when five men broken into the Democratic National Committee offices looking for dirty on George McGovern the Democratic candidate for President. The five men were caught and apprehended and James McCord admitted that high-ranking White House officials helped plan the burglary.…

Roosevelt spoke in 1941 to persuade the citizens of the USA to join the fight against the Nazis. Kennedy gave an inaugural speech celebrating our nation's unity. Roosevelt’s proposition was for the USA to unite with other nations to fight Nazi Germany but Kennedy proposed that the USA was a strong united nation. Donald Trump’s call to “Make America Great Again” has polarized the nation, and is a very current and relevant example of corruption and violence infecting a modern revolution. Although unlike his liberal counterpart Bernie Sanders he hasn’t actually called for a “political revolution,” Donald Trump’s radical policies would be just as much of a departure from traditional American politics. He calls for the deportation of millions of illegal immigrants, a wall on the Mexican border, a ban on Muslims, and for companies based elsewhere to bring their jobs back to the United States. Ever since Trump gained the national spotlight he has been criticized for his Trump University scam and inciting violence among his supporters. When Trump University…

Hillary is the democratic candidate and Donald is the republican. Trump’s policies have been very controversial through the process of this year's election. His views on things like immigration and self rights have worried people around the country. Another thing that has been questioned of his is his morals and character. He has been involved in many cases of domestic violence and many cases with women including assault. Is this the type of person we want in charge of our country? The democratic candidate Hillary Clinton has been caught many times lying about past actions. One example is her view on same sex marriage. Years ago she has talked about how she doesn’t believe it is right or should be legalized. What seems like what has happened is she changes her views according to what would get her more votes. These people would not be fit to be the…

Donald Trump is President-Elect. Even though Donald Trump one the presidency, we as Americans, and each of us, can galvanize and decide what are core values are and how we want to be governed. We can start by making a statement, that while we may not agree on policy positions, we do agree that the vast majority of us are not racists, bigots, sexists, xenophobes, and misogynists and as such our policies, our words, and our actions must reflect this. Taking that first step as Americans can allay the fears of so many people and could possibly be the initial confidence builder needed to move on to solving other problems. We cannot solve problems without working together. What this election taught us is that elections matter, an informed electorate matters, apathy matters, cynicism matters, and getting involved matters. Citizen engagement is important to having an educated electorate, turning apathy into interest, turning cynicism into a belief that if lead properly government does work. This election should lead us all to inform ourselves on how the process works locally, regionally, state-wide, and…
